A Perth boy, born and bred, Stephen Hollow has dedicated his career to hospitality and almost 12 months to managing Rockpool Perth.
He joined the Rockpool team a year ago today, 8th March 2021. Prior to this, Stephen was part of the F&B opening team at the Ritz-Carlton Perth, when the luxury hotel swung its doors open in 2019.
“It’s such an iconic WA brand and I have so many fond memories and celebrations at Rockpool Perth, when the opportunity to work here arose, I couldn’t say no,” he says.
Stephen didn’t set out to work in hospitality. After leaving school he began a degree in Computer Science but hated it. Meanwhile, he was working in hospitality to get through university, and loved it.
“So I dropped out to study hospitality full time,” Stephen says. He hasn’t looked back.
It’s Rockpool’s diverse menu, dedication to sourcing the best ingredients, outstanding wine list and “working alongside the best in the industry, whilst having so much fun” that he loves about his job.
And we love having Stephen as part of the team.
Described by the WA Good Food Guide team as “the smoothest of operators”, we couldn’t agree more.
