Head Chef and former Pastry Chef Brendan Owens has curated a first-class dessert experience that pairs five sweet courses with five cocktails.
The indulgent menu begins with a dessert of white chocolate and yuzu curd to enliven the palate. Next come seasonal Bickley Valley plums that are smoked above the wood-fire grill for five hours, glazed in Mezcal and served crumble-style. Sugar-laden Crack Pie is the half-way mark, followed by a nostalgic sweet-salty popcorn treat with brown sugar ice cream.
Rockpool’s legendary Valrhona Jivara Milk Chocolate and Salted Caramel Gateaux with Nohory Vanilla Bean Ice Cream makes a comeback. Arguably one of Perth’s best desserts it created headlines when it debuted on the restaurant’s tenth anniversary menu a year ago.

Note: cocktails served with the dessert degustation are two-thirds the size of a standard cocktail. Chef Owens describes his inaugural Dessert Degustation as “a menu of sheer delight”.
